Eaton lighting the way for MFB
Published: January 11th 2017 @ 9:45 AM by: Phil Hodel

Eaton Lighting Solutions has shed some light on Midwest Food Bank Georgia. 47 new LED light fixtures valued at more than $8,500 were donated to us by the lighting company. The lighting will be used in our current expansion project. Arnold Walworth, a Program Manager with Eaton, took the lead in making this donation happen.

The expansion adds 8,000 sq. ft. to our warehouse and includes a loading dock, which will be a great help in the amount of food we can accept and distribute. While we serve 277 agencies from 45 counties, there are 47 organizations on our waiting list. The expansion will allow more agencies to receive services from MFB.

It has been exciting to see private donors, small businesses, churches and major corporations from our community join us as we increase our capacity to serve. At Midwest Food Bank we say we are “Sharing the Blessings,” and Eaton has certainly helped us do that. Thank you, Eaton, for your generousity.
